Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
If someone has purchased alcohol illegally for you and you want to report them, can you also get in trouble for having the alcohol purchased for you.

Assuming that by saying "illegally" you mean you are under legal age OR you are old enough but the someone stole the alcohol, YES if you asked them to do it and/or you drank it (knowing it was stolen). The problem is it will be his/her word against yours, and could become a problem for both of you. Why aren't you talking to your parents about this, and if they're the problem, another family member you can trust????
