Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
I know this question seems a little perverse and out there but I am very concerned. My son, who is 19, was looking at beastiality pornography on the internet in our private home. He says that he has done this only a hand full of time. He also says that he has never paid for, distributed, created, or communicated with anyone else about this subject matter. Only that he experimented a few times by viewing what was available for free. I guess my question is is it illegal to view free beastiality porn in a private home in Illinois? An answer would be hugely appreciated. Sincerely, TG

Viewing such films should not be a crime unless he was in the films harming animals. That being said your son should probably talk to a psychological professional.
