Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
I was recently extended an offer by a health care facility and had my fingerprints taken for the first time in my life (or so I thought). They discovered two charges in 1969, one for disorderly conduct (probably Vietnam war protest) and vagarancy. The disorderly conduct charge had no disposition and the Illinois State Police say the employer and I have to wait for 30 days in order to get my record to show that these were not felonies. I have been told by the Labor Department and the States Attorney's office there is nothing I can do to expedite the matter. Can you help?

Where were your arrests? Were they in cook county? Do you remember who the arresting agency was? You may be able to contact them for a copy of your rap sheet. I would need additional information from you to advise any further.
feel free to call me if you'd like to discuss your matter further,
good luck
