recording conversations without authorization
Hi,
This is a question concerning conversations recorded between a man and a woman. The woman did not authorize the conversations be recorded and now the man is threatning to use the conversations against the woman. Is this leagal? if not what laws would this be breaking? and what action should be taken?

Hello. The man's actions amount to a violation
of the federal statute prohibiting unauthorized
recordings. I suggests you make a police report
and then take the report to the nearest Office
for the United States Attorney in your area.
