trying to recover my car
i loaned my friend my car to go to work over a week ago. he still hasn't returned my vehicle. i went to the police station and filed a report. what else can i do to help recover my vehicle

If he parks it on the street, just go and get it. If he parks it in a garage, then you might consider filing a replevin action against him in court.

You may possibly bring an action against your friend in civil action for "replevin" and/or "conversion" which essentially are used when someone has possession of something that the other person is legal entitled to possess and has legal title to.
