Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
reducing felony
I had a white collar case, did 12 months in Federal Camp and I need to find out if my felony can be expunged or reduced to a misdemeanor. FBI agent who worked my case is willing to do whatever it takes to get this done. What options do I have if any?

Re: reducing felony
Hello. In my opinion one of your best
options would be to see if the Office of the U.S. Attorney would be willing to agree to amend your plea, assuming you entered into a plea agreement. However, the FBI agent is the key to this arrangement in my opinion. I would be happy to discuss this with you further and possibly will have some additional recommendations as to how to resolve this.
