Residential Burglary

My boyfriend is being charged with residentail burglary he was 17 when he committed the crime and is now 18 and is going to court for the first time in 2 weeks...what do we have coming to us..is there a good chance we could keep him out of jail with maybe probation or rehab...he was homeless at the time of the break in his parents had kicked him out he told the police that now could that backfire on his parents???

Most likely it won't backfire on the parents. He needs an attorney to attempt to save him from jail. If he can't afford one, the court will appoint one for him.
