How do I respond to a states attorney objection to the expungement of my petition under 20ILCS 2630/5.2(a)(3)

Hello. In such a proceeding it is best to be represented by an attorney, if you don't already have one. There may not be a basis for the State's Attorney's objection. It will depend upon your background as may be documented in court files. My response here is based upon the representations in your posting on this website. The subsection you sited in your question deals with exclusions. The sections states that certain charges, arrests, etc., shall not be expunged. Does your arrest/charge fit into one of these exceptions?
