Retail Theft
Is it considered theft if an emplyoee puts merchindise in their locker to wait until the end of their shift to pay for it?

The question is an issue of intent. If it can be proven that the employee intended to deprive the store permanently of the property, then the situation can be considered a theft. If there is evidence that the employee in fact intended to pay for the itme, then there would be no theft.
