Retail Theft
If some one has been convisted of theft before and was recently charged with a theft of $42.00, Will they have to pay a fine or serve time.

If there is a prior retail theft conviction, a new case may be upgraded to a felony. This carries a potential of 1 to 3 years in prison. It is a very serious matter and you should have counsel. You may reply by e-mail or call the number on my attorney page.
