Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois

Retail Theft

I been going to court for 3 years on an accusation that someone saw me steal. I was booked, jailed, and charged with no adequate proof such as surveilance, fingerprints, or possession of the stolen items. I was willing to take a lie detector test but I was told that was inadmissible. How can this be? Im 100 percent innocent and would rather die than live with a label that defames my good-samaritan background. It seems corruption exist more than genuiness and integrity. BUT HOW CAN THIS TRIAL CONTINUE FOR THIS LONG??

Re: Retail Theft

Do you have an attorney? If so, you should be asking your attorney any questions you have about your case. If not, then you need to hire the very best criminal defense attorney you can afford. Good luck.
