Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
I revived 2 tickets yesterday around 9pm
one was for loud party/noise
one was poss Alcohol/minor
the cops went to my parents house around 3am Sunday morning and wrote my friend a ticket who was drunk sitting on the front porch. then they knoked ont the door for about 30min then went away because nobody ansured. then around 9pm i heard a message on my phone to call the police station, they said they had 2 tickets waiting for me.
how can they give me tickets when they never saw me? how can i get a ticket for poss of alcohol for a drunk person sitting on my porch. there was no alcohol in sight.
how can i get a loud party ticket when there were 5 people sitting at my parents house? no music on or anything?
how is this legal, they have no proof for ether of these tickets

If you really believe that none of these charges against you are valid, then you have every right to fight them in court. I believe that you would be making a mistake if you chose to fight these charges on your own, without hiring an attorney. Good luck.
