Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
Search Warrants
My question is; can you be served with a search warrant for one thing and while they are there searching decide there is something else and send out to get another warrant to cover that but it is time stamped (issued) 4 hours later. They never left at any time and they took things for the second warrant before the warrant was even issued.

Re: Search Warrants
If your question goes to the admissibility of the items found during the first search warrant, the answer will be in the scope of that first warrant. Your question cannot be answered in a yes or no without looking at the warrants and affidavits. If you like, I could review them for you.
