Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
Sentences?
After a person goes to jail and plead for a sentence can they then hire a attorney to get the case back in court and what are the chances that the person could get off or lesser time. We couldn't afford a attorney at the time but now we can.

Re: Sentences?
It depends on a lot of factors. Has it been under 2 years? Perhaps under 30 days? There will have to be something lawfully wrong with the plea, or a constitutional violation. That can't be determined unless I read the transcripts and interview people. That will cost and i may not find anything. Please call for a free consultation.
