Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois

What is a sepina?

I've been looking all over... perhaps the spelling is incorrect, but what is a sepina? And where can I get more info about what it is?

Re: What is a sepina?

I'm guessing that the word is "subpoena". This is a legal document which, when issued and served properly, requires a person's appearance in Court or perhaps at a deposition. If you have been served one of these documents and have any questions, I would suggest that you consult with an attorney.

A court issues a subpoena to compel a person's presence or documents, etc. to a court or another place.
