Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
my son was charged with having a gun which was not registered and it was a court order that he was not to have any firearms in his possession ,his girlfriend new he had the gun and allowed him to keep it in her trailer which they both lived in , should she be held accountable too?

I am not sure how that would benefit anyone, or how anything would change, except an additional person would be charged with a crime. If she had turned him in, he would be in the same position he is now. I assume he is an adult, and is therefore responsible for his own actions, yes?
