Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
My son is facing a criminal sexual abuse charge. DNA is iffy. (No semen, but there is some kind of skin cells).
They have offered him a deal of a year in county jail and registry for life. Should he take the deal?

Hello. I strongly suggests that your son demand that all preliminary motions be filed on his behalf before he accepts any type of a plea bargaining deal, if motions have not already been filed. He is entitled to the best representation possible.
