Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
My son is a fugitive from the state of Illinois. He violated the condition of his parole after three DUI convictions. He failed a drug test and was driving without a license. At his last hearing, Judge said if I see you again I am slapping you with 7 to 14 years. He had served 45 days on a plea bargain previously, when judge made that statement. Instead of going before the same juudge, he decided to flee. Am I obligated, as a parent to provide any/all info as to his whereabouts?
