Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
My son is 17 yrs. old and is in Cook County Jail being charged robbery of a cell phone, the victim let him use the phone then they were playing around and got into a fight and the phone was left on the ground an my son picked it up. The victim file a police report the next day stating he was robbed and now my son has a $100,000D bond and this is his first offense can we request house arrest or probation at the arraignment?

I believe that you should be concerned with your son being a convicted felon at age 17 and being convicted of a crime, that according to your facts he did not commit. You could consider asking for electronic monitoring while on bond and then fight the case.
