Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
I was subpoenaed to grand jury in 2005 December to answer question I thought regarding nursing homes or kickbacks. i cooperated but i heard nothing since. this morning two investigators @ my daughter with a waiver of statue of limitations for me to sign. What should i do?

If you are saying your daughter just called you about investigators wanting her to waive a statute of limitations and she wants to know what to do, the answer is tell her do NOTHING except gt any ID the investigators have and tell them she'll need to consult w/ her attorney first before signing anything. If they don't go away peaceably, she can call the police if she feels threatened.
