Depositing a stolen check can carry a variety of charges with it. The most likely charges will result in a class 4 felony punishable by 1-3 years Illinois Department of Corrections. You should not discuss your case online any further. The fact that they have you on camera is incriminating and failure by the person to ask for ID is irrelevant.
You need to speak with an attorney. Feel free to contact me if you'd like to discuss your case further.
Good luck,
