Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois

I suspect fraud on life insurance policy and on will and on my late husband's estate. My brother in law who has a serious drinking problem changed the beneficiary on my late husband's life insurance policy to himself ( I was named in 1979 the year our first child was born); on or about 5 days before my husband died, the brother change the beneficiary to himself; wrote a will naming himself trustee; and wrote a statement stating all of the assets from late husband should go to him; and submitted an affidavit where the brother states: the my late husband was working and writing briefs on law cases; that my late husband was managing the office from hospital; I suspect fraud. What can I do? I not gotten a thing from my late husband's estate and were married for 35 yrs plus with 5 children. I need legal advice. Thank you

My answer here is based on what you have stated in your posting. You need a lawyer now. In my opinion you need to open an estate and assert fraud in connection with the will that you say was created fradulently by your brother-in-law. This is the best way to attempt to get relief for yourself. I cannot determine from your posting when your husband died. There are more issues that I can discuss.
