What will happen if the teen picks up a new case while on probation is that the state's attorney will file a violation of probation based on the new arrest. If the teen is already on probation, a new charge (depending on the outcome) may result in jail time or additional conditions of the probation.
The teen will likely need a lawyer to represent his interests.
Feel free to call if you would like to discuss this matter further.
