Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
I have to testify ,and its against boyfriend for aggravated battery,however i have signed an affidavit stating that things werent as bad as what i had origionally told police and district attorney,si there any way that i can get out of testifying,and can a lawyer testify for me if i tell him what i want said.

If you are served with a subpeona, you required to appear, and if you testify, you are required to tell the truth. No, you cannot have someone else testify for you--this is called hearsay, and is generally not admissible.
