testify

Do you have to testify in a domestic abuse case if you feel you will suffer retribution, and would be indangering your well being?

I would suggest that you speak with the state's attorney who is handling the case, and express your concerns. If you are under subpoena, then I would certainhly advise you to appear. Sometimes it might help to have an attorney representing you speak with the prosecutor.
