Re: transfer of arrest records across state lines
Typically, the Illinois Secretary of State's office will notify the DMV of your home state. You did not mention the nature of the case relating to your deferred judgment in Iowa, and that information is important in determining the effect of your Illinois case on that matter. Check first with an Iowa attorney regarding the status of that case, and then contact an Illinois lawyer for representation here. For further discussion I can be reached at 630-243-0099.
