What is trespassing ?
My neighbor recently had a cement walk and pation installed. Workers with the company helped themselves to the use of my hose. They had no problem walking onto my property without permission. The fact that we pay for our water also bothers me. Any suggestions on what to do?

I would simply tell the neighbor that next time something like that happens, if you have not given permission, you will callt eh authorities. I do not think that the police would be interested in arresting the contractor. And, as a civil case, you damages would be too small to merit you paying a lawyer to file the case. Hope this helps.

They did trespass (entering without permission onto another's property) but it would not be worth pursuing for the damages which would be minimal. You can call the cops if somebody walks onto your property without your permission.
