Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
Tricked
a friend of mine recently cooperated as a witness in a criminal investigation. We now believe they have become a suspect due to a recent request by law enforcement to participate in polygraph examining. What steps should be taken?

The first step should be to retain an attorney. Ideally, cooperation with State's Attorneys or Law Enforcement when you may be facing charges yourself should be done with the advise and negotiation of an experienced Criminal Defense attorney. What county are you in?
