Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
Unknown Officer/Hearsay
On checking my friends status on his case which is forgery, I noticed something. The arresting Officer is listed as unknown and a warrant was issued on hearsay. Certain individuals got in trouble and said it was him (hearsay) because he has a background with other convictions. What can be done to prove these individuals are lying?

If your friend was charged with forgery then he or she should hire an experienced criminal defense attorney immediately. The attorney can discuss with the client all of the details regarding the evidence or lack thereof.
