hi
what if the victim in a case dosnt show up for any of the court dates and dosnt show for trial how long can the state pursue the charges or will they drope them?

Without the victim, the state will have a hard time proving its case. The defendant has the right to a speedy trial, so the state can't really delay more than 30 days. Either they must attempt to go forward without the key witness, or drop the charges. There is nothing preventing trial without the witness though, the State is just in a tough position for proving its case.
