Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
Warrant
How can I find out the number of the warrant issued 12 years ago and the district attorney's name. I am trying to straighten out this matter, since I am 65 years old and in poor health. Thank you.

Re: Warrant
If you know the county in which the event took place, call the Clerk of the Court for that County. They will be able to look up the warrant, and the amount needed for bond. Depending upon the case, the warrant may not be outstanding. Judges usually conduct warrant reviews regarding outstanding warrants and in some cases, for minor matters, they are terminated. If you do not know the county you were arrested in the State Police would have a record of the outstanding warrant and where it was issued. Good luck.
