Re: warrants

I would advise you to hire an attorney experienced within the geographical area in which the warrants are issued. In many cases we are able to enter our appearance as the defendant's attorney with the coourt, speak with the state's attorney, or other prosecutor, and arrange for the warrants to be cancelled or for the defendant to turn himself in and post a makeable bond. Then, of course, we will need to deal with the underlying charges against you. I office in St. Louis, but I have handled a great number of cases throughout Illinois. You may call me for a free telephone consultation if you wish. In any event, good luck!

Re: warrants

Talk to a lawyer in the area from where the warrant originated to arrange for your surrender.
