It really depends. The sooner one comes to court after it has been issued, the better chance there is to have it quashed. It also depends on why it was issued. If it was for a missed court date and there was a good reason that the date was missed and the party shows up in court quickly, then it will often be quashed quickly. If there are other reasons it was issued then the judge may not quash it at all, and order the warrant be executed, that is have the party taken into custody and be made to post bond.
