Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
A weapons Charge
My husband got arressted for being in the car of a woman who had a gun in her purse. He just got out 5 months ago. It was not his gun, not his car, and he was not driving. Is there a good chance he can beat the case.

Re: A weapons Charge
Based on your facts it sounds like there is a real possibility, but the facts you give may not be the story that shows up in the police report. He needs an attorney to assist in bringing the truth to court.
