Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois

I will be going in to court this afternoon for a Petition to Revoke on a DUI from 2010. I have already received a 6 month extension to finish up my community service and pay the remainder of my court costs. I am going to be able to pay half of what I owe today. I have done 19 of 100 hours of community service. With my current job and transportation issues, and the fact that the only place I can do the service is open from 10am - 5pm Mon-Fri it has been really difficult for me to get these hours done. I am wondering if it is possible to request another extension ( my employer wrote a letter stating they would give me the time off to complete this, and also a printout of the hours and days I've worked for the last 6 months) Throughout this whole probation fiasco I have been promoted at my work twice. The responsibility's I now hold require me to put in anywhere from 60 to 80 hour work weeks. My question to you all is it even worth asking the judge, and the prosecutor for another 2 month extension? Thanks in advance.

If you don't get an extension you may end up spending some time in jail. That may jeopardize your employment.

You should ask for the extension and try your damnedest to get the community service done, so your promotion and your job, doesn't get flushed down the toilet.

Good Luck!
