Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Illinois
employment
before my scheduled shift at 5pm I
had a pizza and one beer at 3:30.
I clocked in at 5pm and at 8:30 I
was sent home because an
employee said my breath smelt like
alcohol. Can i be fired because of
this?

Sure you can. They can fire you for no reason, too. Unless you have an employment contract of some sort, about the only reason they can't fire you is because you are a member of a protected class.
