Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Illinois
Reviewer's discrimination
One colleague and I submitted a scientific research proposal to a government agency. The proposal was sent out for peer review. One reviewer wrote ''The collaboration with the listed Co-PI is most strongly discouraged and funds for this activity should not be approved unless another investigator is identified.'' without any sound scientific arguments on the proposal. This sounds like a personal attach and a serious discrimination without any scientific grounds. I would like to know if any one can help on this matter.

Re: Reviewer's discrimination
Based on the information provided, the reviewer's comments may appear groundless, rather than discriminitory (based on race, gender, etc.) Please feel free to contact my office (or another attorney) to discuss in greater detail the circumstances and consequences of this event.
