Legal Question in DUI Law in Illinois

Class A misdemeanor

I received a class A misdemeanor as part of a plea agreement with D.A. in Illinois on a DUI charge. The agreement was that this DUI would not be on my record. However when I do a search on Judici (IL court case search) it still comes up with the DUI charge. This has been 8 years ago and I want to know why this can be on there or if they are in the wrong?

Re: Class A misdemeanor

You were probably placed on supervision. Supervision, as a matter of law, is not a conviction. But, it still will show up on Judici. DUIs can't be expunged or sealed in Illinois (absent a pardon), so your information will be on judici.com forever.
