Driver's License
Can you legally ask if aspplicant for employment has a valid driver's license? Can you also ak if they have any violations?

Yes. Holding a valid license can be a job condition, and the applicant's driving history can have an impact on the employer's costs, such as insurance. Driving history is available as a public record, so it would be wise to tell the truth regarding such issues.
