Legal Question in DUI Law in Illinois

DUI on conditional discharge

I was charged with a reckless driving in December of 2001 after having it reduced from a DUI. Recently, I was arrested and charged with another DUI and 3 other traffic violations. I refused both the field sobriety tests and the breathalyzer test. A conviction is not an option here as I am still on a conditional discharge from my previous reckless driving. Also, one prior supervision for DUI in January 1989.

Re: DUI on conditional discharge

In that you did not take any tests, there is fair possibility of contesting your charges. Regarding your driving privileges it is important to do so quickly since you will have a suspension for refusing the breath test and there is a limited time in which to file for a hearing on that issue. My firm deals primarily with your type of case and we can be reached at 630-243-0099
