My friend is concerned about losing her teaching degree, because she got a dui in illinois.

this is her first offense of any kind.

Do you think she needs a lawer?

A person should always get a Lawyer for a DUI. Is it pending or complete?

Your friend should absolutely get a lawyer. If this is her first offense, it is quite likely that this matter can be resolved without a conviction. But it won't be inexpensive with all the court costs, etc., involved. Where is the case pending??
