dui
my last dui was 6 yrs ago i got one in february of this year in illionis is there a statu of limitations in the state of illionois. in kentucky where i live it is 6 yrs then your record is cleared.

I am not sure where the urban legend arose that at some point, police go into ones file and erases a conviction one has. Now, you may have some states that don't increase penalties for a subsequent arrest if a past DUI is older than X years. But if you want to believe that the police routinely wipe off old convictions, you are going to be very disappointed.
