i have a friend that was in mich. helping his brother out with his house the friend of mine owns a home and lives in IL. with IL driverslicence he has gotten him self in a jam over the weekend dui in mich. he still has his licence but needs to come home does he get a IL. lawyer or mich.lawyer and cane he put a retainer down for a lawyer to get a continious or does he have to stay and go to court first? this is not hes first Dui

Your friend needs a Michigan licensed attorney if the DUI happened in Michigan.
