my husband has been in mchenry countty jail in woodstock illinois for 8 months on a aggravated dui charge that he is guilty of but what can i tell his public defender to do to get his charge lessened to reckless homicide or involuntary mansloter

There is something here that I don't understand: how does an Aggravated DUI get REDUCED to involuntary manslaughter? Did he kill someone while DUI?? I think that you are clear enough to speak to the PD to ask what your husband's options are. He's probably been in jail long enough to cover the sentence of most DUI offenses. Good Luck!
