My legal Rights

My Boyfriend was driving my car had an accednt and they tested him for achol and took him to gail for a DUI they police towed the car. I got my boyfried out of jail , I call to find out were my car was and they told me where it was but told me the car would be 1,160 to get the car I had just paid 1500 to get him out of jail . Can they hold my car on a DUI even if i was not driving

The short answer is yes. The city controls that. All you can do is pay. The price goes up each day you leave the car there.
