how long can i be held before i have to have a probable cause hearing. And if I am held longer than that time, can my case be dismissed on these grounds???

Your case is not going to be dropped because of any delay in conducting a probable cause hearing if you are entitled to one at all. Do you have an attorney? If not you should hire one. Your attorney can advise you concernign your rights and will request a setting on a probable cause hearing ifyou are entitled to one.
