If a person was arrested for DUI in illinois, and the officers wrote the tickets on his illinois license number, but he has florida license. Are the tickets valid? Can they suspend the florida license? They did not ask for his license, they just ran his name and address and got his license number for illinois. When he was living in florida he gave up his illinois license for his florida license. If he was to go back to florida without going to court, what would happen?

What would happen is that a warrant would be issued for his arrest. He should hire an attorney to represent him on the DUI in Illinois.
