Reinstate revoked driver's license

Hi, Could you please enlighten me on the steps I would need to go through in order to have my driver's license reinstated. I am currently living in a residence with my fiance (who is unable to drive because of her vision issues) and her disabled sister. There is no driver in the home, since her sister suffered an anerism and a stroke in January of 2008. She was previously the sole driver. Is there any consideration made in situations like ours, which makes my obtaining a license for the sake of the family very crucial. My license was revoked because of previous arrests and time spent in jail for DUI. I am now ready to correct my wrongs and step up for the sake of my family. Thank you for your time. First, you need the assistance of a lawyer. In my opinion, these situations are too complicated for most folks to do themselves. If you are not eligible for reinstatement (you can find out at the SOS) your avenue would be to obtain an RDP. Hope this helps. Good Luck

A revoked license is harder to get back than a suspended one. You need the assistance of a lawyer, and it could get quite expensive. Your first step is to have an informal hearing with the Secretary of State. You will find out from there what you need to do to get your license back.
