Can I represent myself in my DUI case?
Can I represent myself in my case of my DUI?,I have never been arrested or in trouble with the law in my entire life, til now,I don't have the money available nor do I forsee getting a loan to come up with money that most lawyers want for a DUI case, my life savings consist of a total of $700,,, which I haven't been able to find an attorney for that little amount, I don't understand the laws, I have been told that automatically I loose my driving privalages for a year, with or without an attorney,, so my question is , do I have to have an attorney represent me in court?, if not what will most likely be my outcome of my case?,without a representing attorney?and also how long exactaly will I loose my driving privalages?

Yes. You are not legally required to hire an attorney to represent you. HOWEVER, you will be making a big mistake if you elect to represent yourself. Have you considered asking the Court to appoint the public defender to represent you? If you do not already have an attorney, you may call me at 314-727-2822 for a free telephone consultation.
