Legal Question in DUI Law in Illinois

Out of State DUI

If the DMV finds you guilty of a DUI out of your home state does it come back to your home state? Also, if you plead to a lesser charge for the criminal offense does this also go back to your home state?

Re: Out of State DUI

If the "other" state is a member of the Interstate Compact, as most states are, the DUI conviction will be reported to Illinois and will be treated as an Illinois conviction.
